Right of withdrawal
Where applicable consumer-protection law provides for it, a consumer may exercise the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days from the day on which the consumer, or a third party indicated by the consumer other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the goods, without having to give a reason.
To exercise this right, send an unequivocal statement to info@paletastudio.shop stating your name, order number and the items you wish to return. After notifying us of the withdrawal, eligible goods must be returned without undue delay and within the applicable legal period.
Exception — custom palettes
The right of withdrawal does not apply, where permitted by law, to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. This includes 6- and 12-shade custom Dermacolor palettes when the palette is assembled specifically according to the shades and positions selected and confirmed by the customer.
This exception does not limit any statutory rights where the item received is defective, non-conforming, incorrect or does not match the composition confirmed in the order.
Sealed goods and hygiene
Where the statutory health or hygiene exception applies, sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons lose the right of withdrawal once the seal has been removed after delivery. This may apply to certain cosmetics and personal-use products. We do not refuse a return merely because external packaging has been handled where the law does not provide for such an exclusion.
Condition of returned goods
For goods eligible for withdrawal, the consumer may inspect the goods only to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. The consumer may be liable for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for that inspection, as provided by law.
Return costs
Unless the return results from our error, transport damage attributable to the seller, or lack of conformity, the direct cost of returning an eligible item under the right of withdrawal is borne by the consumer.

Refunds
When the right of withdrawal is validly exercised, we will refund the amounts due within the applicable legal deadlines, including, where required by law, the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the order. Additional costs resulting from a more expensive delivery option chosen by the customer are not refundable beyond the statutory minimum.
Refunds are normally made using the same payment method used for the purchase unless otherwise agreed and without additional cost to the consumer. Where permitted by law, we may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or until proof of return is provided, whichever occurs first.
Damaged, incorrect or non-conforming goods
If you receive an item that is damaged, incorrect, incomplete or non-conforming, contact info@paletastudio.shop as soon as reasonably possible and include your order number and, where useful, photographs of the packaging, shipping label and product. Do not use a product that you believe may be damaged or incorrect.
All statutory rights relating to conformity of goods remain fully applicable. Where Portuguese consumer law applies, the trader’s liability for lack of conformity of new movable goods is generally three years from delivery, subject to the conditions and remedies provided by applicable law.
